What makes the blinds automatic?
Every blind includes a built-in rechargeable motor — the quiet AM25 on most blinds, with the heavier-duty AM28 fitted automatically for extra-heavy fabrics. Raise or lower it from the included remote — and with the AM25, on a schedule or by voice through Alexa or Google Home when paired with the optional smart hub (sold separately; the AM28 works with the remote only) — and the included solar panel keeps the battery charged, so there's no wiring and nothing to plug in.
How much do they cost?
Every project is priced individually, because the figure depends on fabric, valance style, and size — and the motor, remote, solar charger, and hardware are always included. Build your project online, request a free quote, and we'll confirm with our factory and send an official itemized estimate within 2 business days — blinds, remotes, shipping, and applicable sales tax each on their own line. No add-on fees beyond what's on the estimate.
What sizes can you make?
Widths from 26" to 90" and heights up to 130" depending on the valance style — the tallest blinds are made with the Curve Plus valance — cut to your exact measurements. Bigger window? Contact us and we'll help with an oversized project.
Do I have to measure perfectly?
Measure carefully — the blinds are made to the dimensions you submit. Our measuring guide walks you through it, an optional AI-assisted photo check can flag an obvious mismatch (it doesn't measure your window for you), and you confirm every measurement before production starts.
How long until they arrive?
Custom blinds are made to order — most orders are produced within 2–3 weeks after you approve your estimate, then shipped to your door. Shipping is quoted per project and shown as its own line on your estimate.
What warranty comes with the blinds?
Warranty coverage is motor-only. Every blind includes a 1-year motor warranty. Want longer coverage? The optional 5-Year Extended Motor Warranty — a replacement motor for 5 years (labor not covered; shipping & handling additional) — is priced per blind on your estimate. Fabric, remote, solar panel, hardware, installation, and measurements aren't covered. Just register your blinds when they're installed.
When do I pay?
Not when you request a quote. You build your project, we send an official itemized estimate, and you review and approve it. Only then do you pay, securely through Stripe. Nothing is charged until you've confirmed exactly what we're making.
